It is an essential role within the business, potentialising sales and driving profit for your departments, stores and the overall Warehouse brand. To succeed in a career in Branch Planning you will need to have a good eye for detail, strong analytical and numerical skills and excellent communication skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is the first step to a long-term career in Merchandising. In this role you be responsible for the allocation of several departments, maintaining the flow of stock to stores and ensuring that the stock is directed to the store in the right volumes at the right time to meet customer expectations and optimize profitability.

LEAD DESIGNER - WOVENS

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, confident and motivated Lead Wovens Designer to join us at our Head Office in Old Street.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a key role for the Design team, reporting into the Design Director and having two direct reports; Designer and Assistant Designer, as well as overseeing the Tailoring and Occassion Design to provide guidance and structure.

As the Lead Design on Wovens you will take ownership for designing and building commercial ranges which are balanced, reflective of the brand handwriting, and right for the customer. We're looking for someone who will challenge and elevate the Wovens department with directional design.

  • Ideally experience from a mix of luxury, mid-market and high street
  • Ability to monitor and analyse all trend information, giving clear direction for each department
  • Able to design to deadlines including fabric and trim sourcing
  • Has clear communication to supply base in order to achive the best first samples
  • Ensures all key pieces, core and elevated are incorporated in a balanced and cohesive range

MIDDLEWEIGHT GRAPHIC DESIGNER - PRINT & WINDOWS

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Warehouse for an experienced Graphic Designer to provide creative, innovative and consistent design solutions for print and window schemes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An integral role within the Design team, working closely with VM, you will be a key team member responsible for executing our brand vision across our stores; including window creative, branding, seasonal campaign collateral and creative Marketing briefs.

You’ll be creating designs for a variety of print media including labelling & packaging, windows, point of sale, promotional campaigns, logos, lookbooks, brochures, press day graphics, International graphics, stationery, training materials etc. You will own Brand Guardianship across print artwork, ensuring that standards are consistent across the brand – helping to shape and develop seasonal guidelines.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in a similar role, in-house or agency (ideally High Street Fashion / Retail)
  • Team player with an enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Strong experience of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages
  • Experience with 3D packages would also be useful but not essential
  • Understanding of print process including paper stocks and finishes
  • Print buying / press passing experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Confident lising with Suppliers to achieve optimum results, creating clear briefing documents to ensure creative meets the highest standards
  • Ability to create renders / mock ups for window schemes as proof of concept
  • Ability to create print-ready designs
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail for all completed artwork as required by key stakeholders

QUALITY MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

The main responsibility of the Quality Manager is to manage the team of technologists ensuring Warehouse’s reputation for great fit and quality is maintained and improved to be the best it can within the brands competitive set. This role plans and manages the Production budget and manages the relationship with a nominated branding supplier, monitoring stock levels and rebate monies. As well as the management duties, this role has responsibility for a department.

ABOUT YOU

  • Currently working as Quality/Technical Manager or Senior Garment Technologist level within a fast-paced fashion retailer
  • Enthusiastic and highly personable with a good technical knowledge across all product areas, including a thorough understanding of Knitwear
  • Excellent knowledge of design, pattern cutting, grading and manufacture
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management of priorities and workload
  • Willingly takes responsibility and accountability and makes decisions as appropriate
  • Acts as a positive role model
  • Has a good understanding of the key levers within the technical department that affects the brands performance and profitability

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Assistant to join us to execute our social plans, publish daily content across all our social channels, conduct regular audience analysis and support the Social Media & Content Manager with the smooth running of the content team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Social Media & Content Assistant will maintain the daily media calendar and publishing schedule, analysing the effectives of the posts and level of engagement. They will coordinate and deliver the weekly social output and ensure this is published on time, by helping to write copy, brief creative assets and source imagery when required. The Social Media and Content Assistant needs to have a good understanding of industry trends and the fashion social media landscape as they will develop relevant content topics to engage with the brands target audience, ensuring this promotes interaction, and encourages traffic to our website.

The Assistant will stay on the cutting-edge of social innovation and media tools; monitoring competitors and other social media leaders to see how they are using them. They will become an advocate of Warehouse in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues, and answering questions where appropriate, as well as being the eyes and ears of our customer by continuously researching and feeding back on new social interests, key buzzwords, what’s trending and anything that feeds our audience’s appetite.

HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTIST (OASIS AND WAREHOUSE)

We are looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist to join our team; the ideal candidate will be passionate about Hair, Makeup and Fashion, consistently aware of current trends and would be able to relate and adapt these to the Oasis/ Warehouse brand.

The Hair & Makeup Artist will be responsible for all Hair and Makeup looks across the Oasis and Warehouse websites, Ecommerce and creative, potentially working on Look Books and Campaigns.

This role will report to the Studio Production Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full understanding of the Oasis/Warehouse brand and customer
  • Producing a high standard of Hair & Makeup that is brand appropriate, referencing the seasons catwalk trends and street style that would be relevant to the brands
  • On ecommerce days, producing Hair & Makeup looks for the model in the 1 hour allocated time slot, maintaining the approved look throughout the day and touching up after lunch
  • Understand and translate any creative changes quickly and with minimal disruption to the shoot
  • Responsible for Hair & Makeup kit- keeping an updated inventory, ensuring kit is kept clean and organised. Communicating any items needed to Studio Manager
  • Keeping an updated document with all approved Hair & makeup looks and suggestions for each model
  • Suggesting and testing new looks. Presenting ideas for creative briefs
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the Shoot Leads, stylists, photographers and the brands ; collectively deciding the most suitable looks depending on model and product

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, confident and motivated Garment Technologist to join the Jersey & Denim departments within our Production team. You will work closely with Buyers and Designers of various departments to seal garments from the initial design sample.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Leads fit sessions with Buying and Design teams
  • Prepares specifications and completes fully graded size charts for bulk manufacture
  • Ensures Warehouse manufacturing quality standards are adhered to
  • Ensures all branding is to Warehouse standards and from nominated suppliers
  • Understands fabric performance and testing results, ensuring the most appropriate care instructions
  • Assesses quality performance from product returns, retail and customer feedback and ensures knowledge is applied to future product developments
  • Promotes quality both internally and to suppliers
  • Builds relationships with key suppliers in order to maintain and improve fit and quality
  • Prepares supplier feedback on a regular basis and have input on brand sourcing decisions
  • Benchmarks the relative value of Warehouse product against the competition
  • Ensures new manufacturing techniques and fabrics are fed back to Buying
  • Contributes appropriate fit and quality facts to department strategy reviews
  • Supports technologists in the production team across other product areas to ensure comments are sent to suppliers in a timely manner

  • Experience at a Garment Technologist level within Jersey and Denim product areas
  • Understands size and shape of models and how differences may affect fit
  • Have in depth knowledge of fit and construction, preparing accurate comments to suppliers
  • Good knowledge of supplier ethical standards and improvements if any needed
  • Knowledge of factories production methods and quality systems to ensure well matched to business needs
  • Understands production flow and influence teams CPA decisions that affect quality, fit and delivery
